I hope that this type of thing is allowed, but I was logging into my e-mail earlier today and noticed that Yahoo!Movies UK are giving us fans the change to win tickets to the LA Premier. I understand this may be a long shot, but I'm planning an Effie Trinket cosplay for this year's Aki Con. Are there any other Puget Sound-area THG fans attending the con (with or without cosplay?) If so, I'd love to hear from you, maybe even have a small meetup at the con - what do you say?

Here's a short article about Suzanne Collins' latest book-signing tour stop, at a store in my small Chicago suburb. It's a little, indie store for kids' and YA books, but they're well-known for supporting indie authors and promoting fantasy books. (They were the first bookstore to host a midnight-release party for a Harry Potter book!)
